SideSlip Skimboarding offers summer skim camps, birthday parties, and diverse options of private skimboarding lessons to meet the needs of riders of all ages and skill levels.
Our mission at SideSlip Skimboarding is to provide the most comprehensive skimboarding lessons and training offered in New York. We want to share our many years of experience with riders of all skill levels to give them the opportunity to learn and finesse their skimboarding skills.

Our Skim camps aim to offer a welcoming atmosphere to kids of all walks of life. Our camp focuses on developing one’s skim skills from the basics of the run, drop, slide and their corresponding stance goofy or regular footed.

4-25 participants per event. 3 hours of instruction and skimming. We provide Skimboards, Music, Games, tents tables and most of all fun!

Lesson is one hour in length. Prices for extended lessons or multiple participants are available upon request.

Our instruction is always offered with encouragement, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
SideSlip Skimboarding understands that every rider is unique. As a rider progresses, we modify our lessons to ensure our riders of all skill levels remain challenged and stimulated.
Regardless of experience, every session begins with a short stretching practice to ensure the rider’s body and mind are prepared to accomplish the goals of the session.
Our riders’ health and safety are of utmost important to us. Cold water, snacks and sunscreen are always in our beach bag!
